How To  Care For Your Dust Cover:

All BellaCaché™ Dust Covers are made of 100% cotton (a sustainable, recyclable fiber) but need to be dry cleaned in order to preserve the fabric's finish.

 

How to Store Your Leather Goods:

BellaCaché™ Dust Covers are great protection but you may find these tips helpful:

• Always store your leather items in cool, dry places; never in a hot or damp area

• Leather requires natural fabric for storage; using any other fabric could discolor your goods

• Always stuff empty leather handbags with non-acid tissue paper (never newspaper) and use shoetrees when storing leather shoes so your items will retain their shape

• If your leather becomes wet, let it dry at room temperature; never dry it in front of a direct heat source as this damages the leather

• If you plan on storing your purses for a long time, give them a thorough cleaning.   Empty every nook and cranny, vacuum out the debris at the bottom.  Wipe the outside of your bag all over with a barely damp cloth and make sure that the bag is completely dry before you store it.

• If you store more than one purse in your BellaCaché™ Dust Cover, make sure you cover any brass or metal chains, rings, studs, etc. to stop them marking other bags.  You can do this with a piece of tissue or cloth.  Tuck the chain handles inside your purse. This helps prevents the chain from scratching or marking the outside leather. Undo metal fastenings and buckles on straps so that they do not leave an impression.
